Salvador Alanis

Salvador Alanis is an award-winning writer, film & TV producer, and cultural connector. He has been the recipient of multiple awards by the National Fund for the Arts in Mexico and has been an artist in residence at the Banff Centre for the Arts. He has published six books and collaborated with newspapers and magazines. With his media work, he won the Multimedia Prize at the Video and Electronic Arts Biennial of Mexico, and his work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions. Recently, he finished a documentary called “Unfold” about the generation of artists that emerged in Mexico in the ’90s. He is the co-founder of the Institute for Creative Exchange in Toronto, an organization dedicated to building bridges among creative professionals internationally. He has been a consultant for the Ministry of Culture and the National Fund for the Arts in Mexico. Additionally, he has launched and produced high-rating TV shows and has developed communication campaigns for Fortune 500 brands.
