Diego Serebrisky is an experienced and recognized investor in Latin America. Currently he is Managing Partner of Dalus Capital, a new early stage fund based in Mexico, as well as Managing Director at Alta Ventures since 2013. He invests in high growth Latin American companies innovating in technology and business models.

Prior to joining Alta Ventures, Diego was Managing Director at Advent International, a global private equity fund. He spent 12 years in their Mexico City office, and then relocated to Bogota, Colombia, where he launched and was Head of Advent’s Colombian office.

Previously Diego worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Co. in Caracas, Venezuela, Johannesburg, South Africa and New York City providing strategy advise to large clients.

Diego is a member of the Board of AMEXCAP, the Mexican Private Equity Association, where he was president during 2008 and 2009. He was also a member of the Board of ColCapital, the Colombian Private Equity Association, since its inception to early 2016. He also collaborates as Endeavor and Wayra mentor and participates in the development of the entrepreneurial ecosystems in Colombia and Mexico. Diego has a degree in Computer Engineer, summa cum laude from Universidad Simon Bolivar at Caracas, Venezuela; also holds an MBA from the Sloan School of Management, MIT.
