Katherine Roos has counselled thousands of Canadian entrepreneurs and small business owners in her career. With more than 15 years’ experience in Ontario's small business and innovation ecosystem, her expertise includes business acceleration program design and management; delivering government services for small businesses; and, community economic development. She’s passionate about building inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems and presently consults to organizations interested in developing new programs to support entrepreneurs and innovators.

Previously, Katherine built-out the entrepreneurship hub at OCAD U to support investor-ready tech startups. She managed Enterprise Toronto Canada’s largest aggregator of microbusinesses in Canada. She was also part of the management team at Toronto Business Development Centre, an internationally recognized business incubator and one of Canada’s first.

Prior to working in the innovation ecosystem, Katherine managed her own marketing consultancy and served small business owners as a senior communications officer with the Province of Ontario and as an account manager with The Loyalty Group.

A graduate of the University of Toronto, Katherine serves on the board of LOFT Community Services.
